About Freedom Carrier

The Freedom Carrier was conceived by Steve Whitmore, whose wife Zelda is an MS sufferer who depends upon a mobility scooter to lead a normal lifestyle. Shopping trips were restricted by the limited storage space on the scooter which inevitably led to the unsafe practise of using the handlebars from which to hang shopping bags. This in turn led to the development of the Freedom Carrier, a stylish trailer designed specifically for safe use with mobility scooters.

It is a fact that there are in the region of 150,000 mobilty scooter users in the UK today and that 50,000 scooters are sold each year to disabled and elderly people.
